Connecting to the Campus Network

Cisco Clean Access (CCA) is a program that examines your computer via a scan for certain requirements BEFORE allowing your computer to connect to the network. If your computer passes the scan, you will have access to the network. If your computer fails the scan you will be put into a Temporary Role which will explain how to resolve the problem.

Need to register a Game Console? Visit the Console Registration.

Before connecting, you must first Install the Clean Access Agent  - (NOTE: This link shows HOW to install the agent. Clicking the link does NOT install the agent on your machine.)

Your computer MUST meet the following 8 criteria before it will connect to NC A&T’s network from your room:

1.  Updating the Operating System

2.  Installing Windows 2000 Service Pack 4

3.  Installing Windows XP Service Pack 2

4 Applying Critical Updates

5.  Enabling Windows Automatic Updates

6.  Installing Anti-virus Software

7.  Updating Anti-virus Definitions

8.  Installing and Enabling a Firewall
